I created Econnoisseur Magazine with the mission to connect with you, fellow eco-lover, so that individually and together we can support our beautiful planet. Earth is the most incredible gift, teacher, resource, and lifeline.
Lately, I’ve found it hard to live my values, especially as a busy new mom and stepmom. I’ve studied environmentalism for as long as I can remember and loved my time working for ten different environmentally-based organizations.
I care deeply about living in harmony with nature. Yet, I have experienced feelings like overwhelm, eco-anxiety, despair and even denial. As I began digging deeper into my own feelings, I realized that others felt the same. I started thinking, there must be a way we can all stay informed and empowered while taking small, impactful steps.
That’s our mission at Econnoisseur Magazine: to create a place where you are met exactly where you are on your journey, without shame or judgment. Our goal is to create a space for everyone to learn from each other so that we can live our lives fully and richly, while making real positive differences for our planet.
I’ve traveled, studied, and worked around the world, in places such as the Philippines, Europe, Australia, Asia, Latin America, and more. My studies span across communications, business, and integrated water management, all with the underpinning goal of helping the environment. For me, it has never mattered where I was, taking care of our planet is my passion.
Deep down, I’ve always felt that if I can help to educate and empower others, then I can help make positive changes for our planet. When we thrive across the quadruple bottom line people, planet, prosperity, and purpose, then everyone wins.
All are welcome here, whoever you are and wherever you are on your eco journey - I’m just so thrilled you’ve found Econnoisseur Magazine! Here’s to your best eco journey yet!
